Our Home
We named our cabin Living Water to glorify Christ.  There were a lot of choices and we considered many of them, but Living Water appealed to us.  This is our first cabin and it is our home away from home.  We love visiting West Virginia as often as is reasonable.  We are happy to have you as our guest when we can not be in the mountains ourselves fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, kayaking, grilling, and relaxing in the fresh sweet air.

As with any home we have some rules and most are just plain old common sense to us based on how we live.  We understand that some of our rules will make no sense to a certain percentage of our population.  Some of the rules for our home will simply not fit with your lifestyle, you will not want to be our guest, and we understand and respect your choice.

No Smoking or Use of Tobacco Products.
We have two members of our family (one in each generation) who are allergic to the residue of tobacco.  It is unrealistic for us to have guests that smoke or use tobacco in other ways.

No Pets

Maximum Occupancy:
Though this cabin is luxurious; it is small.  It is designed for a maximum occupancy of four persons and a small dog.  However, under curtain circumstances if you will call and explain the situation, such as in the case of a young family that has three children, it may be reasonable for us to relax this rule.  The rule is not relaxed unless we have provided you with confirmation of the fact in writing by fax, letter, or email.

Disruptive Behavior:
In the evening it becomes very quite in this little hollow between the two sides of the mountain.  Though the closest neighbor is more than 600 feet away sound travels dramatically over the distances.  Any loud or disruptive behavior, abuse of alcohol, drug usage, profanity or misconduct of any kind will not be tolerated.  Disruptive behavior results in eviction without refund.

There are two options:
1. If your cancellation occurred 30 days or more prior to your arrival date, we offer a refund of your deposit less $30.00.
2. If your cancellation occurred less than 30 days prior to your arrival date, your deposit will be forfeited.

Spa/Hot Tub Waiver and Cautions:  You agree when booking the cabin that you will be the sole responsible party for monitoring all activities in and around the spa/ hot tub and its use. Use of the Spa/hot tub is at your own risk.  Exposure to hot water for long periods of time can evolve into a health risk for you or other occupants.  The use of alcohol can intensify the risk.  If pregnant, consult your physician regarding the cautions associated with hot tub risk and follow their recommendation.

Extreme caution must be exercised to prevent unauthorized access by children. To avoid accidents, ensure that children do not use the spa/hot tub unless supervised at all times by adult(s).  The straps have a lock.  The key is in the cabin on a key chain.

Keep hair, loose articles of clothing or jewelry, such as a necklace away from the suction inlets. Never enter the spa/hot tub if the filter, filter lid, or skimmer assembly are broken or any part of the skimmer assembly is missing.  Children are at risk for hair entrapment if allowed to submerge their heads in the spa/hot tub.  Never allow children to play or get near the suction fittings, suction covers, filter, filter lid, or skimmer assembly.

There are plastic baggies of a measured amount of Spa Shock with the white towels in the basket in the cabin. After daily use pour the contents of one baggie into the spa/hot tub after the last use of the day, while the jets are on prior to strapping on the cover lid.
